U.S. Navy still on-track for fielding an obsolete carrier air wing

I'm not convinced the U.S. Navy knows the definition of an "air dominance fighter".

Their thinking indicates that the carrier air wing is going to become obsolete before they find out the hard way. The ultimate result could mean many U.S. lives lost in a future war.

Unfortunately the Navy seems preoccupied obsessed with other things.

They do. This is still in the analysis-of-alternatives stage. Which will conclude the "F"-35 doesn't have the performance, unmanned aircraft don't have the real-time responsiveness. Design a new manned fighter.
