Links of interest for today

Libya, one of the worst run U.S./NATO military campaigns (behind Afghanistan) will continue; and for what?

Australian soldiers try to understand who can be trusted in the Afghan security community. And, shouldn't the threats in Mexico be of a much higher concern to U.S. national security interest than Afghanistan? A once commercially important Monterrey, Mexico is falling apart due to unmanageable gang violence. (H/T- War News Updates). How long can the U.S. benefit from outsourcing everything from manufacturing to medical services (healthcare being cheaper across the border) to Mexico?

A U.S. politician tries to prepare people for that terrible "what-if?" with the troubled F-35 program. And well, maybe MALD will help with air power issues.
