Once a red pen is taken to the 2010 JSF (F-35 ) MOU, it starts looking ugly. My bet is that this gets worse.

I am pritty sure SpudmanWP got a perfect good explanation for this. Cause the F-35 is on track, affordable, more capable as promised, orders coming in huge numbers etc. Oh and in FY 2013 there wont be any more defense cuts due to the shiny economic situation in the Usa.
Tbh i think the F-35 gonne go downhill a lot faster then anyone predicts.
Not sure why the table does not include the planned Norwegian orders in CY16-CY19. And, as Sweetman noted yesterday, the Dutch seem to plan orders from CY17 which means deliveries in 2019. What about the rest of the partners?
I think these delays are due to two legitimate reasons: 1. They want more evidence of a stable program. 2. More importantly, they are looking for a brighter economic future.
