USMC Air star-level leadership has mismanaged their forces

This short video says it all.

1. USMC has under-resourced their aircraft maintenance significantly: no evidence of proper oversight from higher headquarters; just let the squadrons suffer and like it.
2. USMC has under-resourced their pilot flying hours significantly: 4 hours per month for a pilot is crap proficiency.

Note the defective F-35 will not fix this with all of its problems.

Solution:

1. Fire the boss of USMC aviation.
2. Buy Super Hornets. Get rid of legacy Hornets.
3. For the helicopters, heavy lift for the USMC may be past saving it is so bad. Hopefully get the K going but I don't know where the numbers of the need for 100-some aircraft will come from.
4. Cancel the participation of the F-35.
5. Harriers may need more money for refirb out to 2030. This isn't easily fixable accept to go to Boeing and have the dust off their design for a next-gen Harrier.
6. Get the USMC a few squadrons of the General Atomics Avengers.

Final solution for USMC Air is more money by the pallet. Worth doing. Find some things in other parts of the DOD to just flat out get rid of.
