Disappointing

There is a lot of various things in this article.

The following I find disturbing and disappointing.

Some amphibs went nearly 20 years without an inspection of tanks and voids, and the findings were not good. Planned availabilities in recent years were extended by months to address the costly corrosion.

This kind of life management used to be basic bread-and-butter skills in USN sustainment.

Good grief.

Priorities I guess.
