Another thing, I came across the drawing ( image here ) in the AWD audit report. It lists Contract Variation Proposal Numbers by prefab block as of 2013 (ie areas of major design variations). What would an equivalent drawing for a new submarine design evolved to RAN requirements look like?

Also, the block that BAe had trouble with was 107, that block contains a large chunk of the forward engine room and most of the forward aux machinery room (the 2 forward gen sets).
Question, what dickhead in DMO constructed a schedule that required the major sub-contractor to go from cold to the two most complicated blocks (107 and 109) first??????
