Reader M&S solved some concept problems by bringing up the Hoplite by MBDA a few months back.

He also pointed to this munitions ejection system for ramped cargo aircraft.

Hoplite advertises as a land and sea launched idea.

I would think you could add air-launched to that.

If targets are fixed and known, I think there are some opportunities with using the C-130 and C-17 as stand-off weapons launchers:

-Tomahawk
-JASSM
-SDB
-Hoplite


If the threat situation is different where you have networked intel, even better for targeting.
