Pitch Black

Was looking at a write-up of the recent Pitch Black air combat exercise held down this way. It was by one of the F-35/Defence fan-writers.

Of interest.

In order to make this exercise relevant for the future, it will have to use F-22s and Typhoons to play the red air. Why? Because those two aircraft are the closest analog to the PAK/FA and SU-35 capability we have in the Western world.

Beat those two Red-air opponents, and you can then know that friendly coalition air forces in this region can win an air war.

China and Russia are trying to field forces to defeat the F-22. Do that, and everything else is easy.
