DOD Forms Independent Team To Assess F-35 Software Development

The Pentagon's acquisition executive has established an ad hoc team to review F-35 Joint Strike Fighter software development, assembling more than a dozen experts from the Defense Department, industry and academia, as well as a representative from one international ally, to report on efforts to deliver software capabilities critical to current program milestones.

While they are looking under rocks for milestones, maybe they can find milestone-C.

Without milestone-C it is illegal to produce low-rate-initial-production (LRIP) aircraft.
