Missiles in a box

Small tactical indirect fire precision missiles in a box. Those that can do recon before strike and those that are direct strike.

They can be put on a variety of platforms; are easy to transport; easy to handle; easy to fire and are logistically simple in the field. Missiles in a box wins on this big time.

This was hinted to the other day in the comments section as it pertains to the Navy.

One can also see the utility of such weapons where Australia is fighting today. It is easily scalable so that in large quantity it could have a significant value to the defense of the nation.

One of these systems that was for the now gone U.S. Army Future Combat system can be hard to develop. Make the missile too cosmic; throw in crappy program management skills which are epidemic and it can fail.

Here are some visuals.

Israel is also developing this class of weapon known as "jumper".

The concept is simple. How could this class of weapon be employed with the ADF?
