With a budget in deep debt trouble, here is what to do to cut off Australia's biggest welfare queens

It's true.

Australia has a lot of welfare queens to pay for in its federal budget...that is hundreds of billions in debt.

Dole bludgers is a correct term here because what we are spending money on, doesn't work.

Here are a few of our top federal budget problems that should be cut off.

The F-35 program. It will get shot down in combat. Stating that there are 'no alternatives' means that you want the RAAF to get killed off--all in one battle and/or early in a real shooting war.

At this time it is probably up to $24B in expense because of all of the things like the wasteful spending on the Super Slow Hornet (reliable and affordable but...will get shot down in combat against threats ...to a lesser degree than the F-35).

Billions more will have to be spent to fix up this mess. Note: New Zealand's fast jets were canned for much less of a reason.

Submarines. The $50B to replace the Collins-class submarine? We have not seen any detailed numbers to look at true down and dirty expense. No money should pass for this until some hard figures appear.

Hunting down diesel/electric subs in the South China Sea in the coming years (when the RAAF and friends don't have control of the air (pro-hint, the U.S. Carrier Air Wing is obsolete to the threat) will look something like German U-boats from the middle of 1943 to the end of the war (hint two: hunted down by fox hounds).

(Red ASW threats. South China Sea.
2020's and beyond.)

Low-hanging fruit:

The M-1 tank. Sad, and, a waste. Look to Canada for ground vehicle thinking.

180-some flag ranks for a tiny military. Welfare with a big "W". Must be nice to receive such a government check every payday for work that has little or nothing to do with providing true, National Defence value.

Odd how the nutty political "analyists" ignore this huge drain on the taxpayer.

They can solve it now, or the negative, when the whole thing collapses under its own weight.

Bold leadership is needed, in an environment where morale cowardice, is the rule of the day.
