It is sad that it has come to this:

No deal on LRIP batches and other delays; for an aircraft that will get shot down in combat. That is, for those fit to fly.
The F-35 Joint Program Office may be broken up (as a parlor game idea in Congress and DOD). I would suspect because so many legal problems don't mesh, all the way across management of the program. This might avoid worse pitfalls; like a DOJ task-force after it all falls down.
And about those LRIP deals?
All illegal.
The jet is still in DOD Procurement Milestone-B.
Think about that.
