USS Whitehurst, DE-634

Saw the movie, 'The Enemy Below' again.

Yes, very Hollywood and silly. Today, some would label the last scene with Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens as a 'bro-mance'.

However, this time, a first: on a big, hi-res wall monitor, the USS Whitehurst looked beautiful.
