Lots of talk, no action

When a pilot says this... the only response is:

Easy to test.

The program needs to put its money where its mouth is.

Not too hard to rig it for a combat range and have it do 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 against:

1. Typhoon.
2. F-22
3. F-16 (oh wait, that old Block 40 2-seater with two wing tanks basically killed it in the energy maneuver test.)
4. Classic, old, F-18. I nominate the RAAF one as it has ASRAAM which will give it "first-shot, first kill"
5. Gripen
6. Singapore F-5 (has modern HOBS helmet and dogfight missile)
7. Others.

All they have to do is run the tests.... publish the numbers where the F-35 is always victorious and press on with the marketing campaign.

The best response to the above pilot's nonsense is to say, "challenge accepted. Let's do it."

However, at the time. F-35 fan pilots only look like the two guys in this bar (VPN needed for non-U.S. viewers)...lots of talk, no action.
