S-400 in Syria

Well, this makes any U.S. no-fly zone fantasy just a bit more difficult.

It made sense that we would see this. It puts a stamp on the rest of the Russian deployment to Syria. That is to the West: stay out. We are in control of securing Syria. With capable aircraft that can take on any legacy aircraft we have and be a reasonable headache for an F-22, Russia now has a full spectrum of capabilities deployed.

Russia can declare a no-fly-zone over Syria...

...anytime they want.
