Russian Air Force deployment to Syria. Seen in the photo, KAB500-S ("S" is satellite/inertial guidance) precision-guided-munitions (PGMs). The closest Western analogue would be the GBU-32 (1000lb JDAM). However the air-gap (left weapon in the photo) would go along with the square data connection that is forward. The rear dark area is where the weapon is held to the hard-point.
