A few points in this piece of misinformation.
1. The F-35 isn't a "fifth-generation" fighter. Dishonest marketing memes are not a combat capability.
2. Fact: An F-35 was out-performed by an F-16. Program officials have had years to figure this out. Wait until a Block 3 F-35 has to go up against a new F-16, (CFTs or no). It will get murdered. (that is a Block 50/52 at the top of the chart).
Have a look at the F-35 air-to-air problems.
3. Bogdan's claims go right along with varius U.S.Defense assumptions, up to around 6 December, 1941.
4. "According to Lockheed Martin..." Stop reading right there. That which is presented without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.
5. "What we saw with early F/A-18E/F blocks..." No. Like it or not, Block 1 of the Super Hornet was combat capable. Not earth-shaking but better off than the Just So Failed. More: Block 2 Super Hornet is superior in giving what a joint operational commander needs, than anything the F-35 has demonstrated thus far...14 years after contract award 'win'. Neither will be able to take on emerging threats.
