The Army has failed to solve a potentially lethal cockpit fumes problem five years after it was first identified in its two-seat Tiger attack helicopters.
In the latest fume related emergency, a $40 million European built Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) from the 1st Aviation Regiment — where Prince Harry flew the Tiger in April — was forced to make an emergency landing beside a highway near its base at Robertson Barracks south of Darwin.
This taxpayer welfare program needs to be scrapped.
ARH Tiger...just...bad
