Japan is a serious contender to nab the SEA 1000 project, as news broke last week that the country is expected to provide Australia classified data on Soryu-class submarines. Previously, Japan has only ever shared information of this level of confidentially with its close military ally, the US.
Curious if that includes all the Swedish technology in the submarine?
The amount of weak analysis (if it can be called that) to have the Japanese provide the replacement for the Collins submarine...
1. Smells of U.S. interference.
2. Has enough extreme risk tied in it to be not unlike the F-35 plan for Australia (all bad).
