ADM--evaluate all available combat systems for Collins submarine replacement

ADM is usually a copy-paste publication. Example, the government says the F-35 is good; therefore it must be.

Get access to officials. Write puff-pieces.

I used the word "usually". Once in a while ADM has some significant reading.

The following is one of their best.

If you are a duffer yet always get to the various U.S. DOD reports on weapons they are trying to push off on us, you would have noticed for a few years that the U.S. combat system, that the Australian government states must be in a Collins submarine replacement, is faulty.

Very much so.

I don't want to steal ADM's thunder so just go read the article.

Yes. Any combat system (U.S. or otherwise) that goes into the replacement of the Collins submarine must be competitively evaluated on its merits.
