In the mean time, take a look at this latest LM marketing photo via Alert 5.
It shows the F-35 with what are to be the weapons cleared for it by the end of system, design and development phase (SDD). At the end of this phase, full-rate production will start.
Pretty photos do not make a combat capability. This photo is watered down from the 2006 chart. And seriously watered down from the 2001-2002 chart (which even showed...HARM).
In any event, the aircraft actually has to perform missions without getting shot down. The flip side of that coin is that it will be too expensive to own and operate for low-end threats.
