Chinese president Xi Jinping, New Years message--Take note

Talk a look at Chinese president Xi Jinping.

And do take the time to watch his 9 minute New Years message below. Take notes if you need to.

Yes there are some platitudes here and there, but, also consider the rest of the message.

1. Goal oriented for the long game.
2. Paying tribute to the people's hard work.
3. The old leadership trait of showing hope for the future.
4. Paying respect to those lost recently.
5. Still mentioning WWII lost as a hint...to you know who.
6. Paying significant respect--as a nation--to 400,000 people that had to be relocated as part of a project.
7. A much more direct look at anti-corruption, and saying that these things will be taken care of, directly to the people.
8. Us against the Government.
9. Nationalism, which will, continue.
10...on the world stage.
11. Motivating.

So while it may be a communist party, it is their communist party.

Students of FDR and JFK might even recognize some things. I saw some Ike.

I don't know how the chattering class, iintelligentsia and alleged China experts see this.

I see it as something strong. That every John/Jane-Q-Pubic in Communist China can hang their hat on, when looking to a leader.

So, if China is an adversary, we do not have any similar, tangible,  leadership message to motivate our people.

None.

Nowhere to be seen.

Our message is that where platitude is king.
