Camp Bastion over-run by enemy

British strip Camp Bastion bare before they leave.

Good I say.

THE British army stripped its biggest military camp in Afghanistan so bare that Afghan guards without radios had to use hand signals to communicate, a film charting Britain’s withdrawal has revealed.

Not a single weapon, military vehicle or surveillance camera was handed to the Afghan forces left defending Camp Bastion, Britain’s biggest operational overseas base since World War II.

Last weekend, the base was overrun by the Taliban, leaving up to 20 Afghan troops dead. Footage of the aftermath showed burnt-out buildings and bloodied helmets.

Looks like the "friendly" Afghans didn't have the will to fight. The enemy still would have over-run the place if the UK had left all kinds of gear.
