Somebody help me out. Should not a real ASW frigate or corvette be designed from the ground up with this capability as a prime and then add other multi-mission stuff later... ?
Maybe the LCS is a star design as an ASW platform? But, given everything else in its history, I don't see how.
I would want, smooth, sleek, quiet (lots of sound deadening).
