Can't be trusted

Australian Submarine Corporation (managed not unlike Soviet industry) isn't trusted by the Defence Minister, Senator Johnston, to build a canoe.

Yet it is all parties that come up with the dumb requirement of do-it-all subs that displace 4000 tons and have significant complexity. So much complexity that you wouldn't want the entrenched Defence bureaucracy to build it.

It isn't ASC that can't be trusted. It is the whole entrenched Defence bureaucracy that can't be trusted.

These people aren't worthy of our respect. They are not worthy to spend our money. They are unable to come up with reasonable plans provide for a proper Defence of this nation.
