We in Holland have this scam going. I looked at the 2015 Defense budget this morning too see what the planned waste of good money will be.
Aqusition budget for 37 F-35 is 4628,2 bil euro

Cost per year 270 mil euro x30 is 8100 bil euro

Total 12728,2 bil Euro

344 mil per F-35 433 mil us dollar

For that Holland gets 5 F-35 in the Usa 32 in Holland.

1,5 airbase. To do Qra. Why we need F35 to that beats me. And 4 abroad to support missions on a continuous base.
Yes 4 lol.
Complete waste of money imo just send some allies money to that for us instead of maintain a symbolic airforce.

As is said so many times. The F-35 is not suited for Holland and a lot of other countries with a small airforce.

If it even works as advertised and that remains to be seen.

There are enuff alternatives for Holland and I still have some hope Holland comes to their senses and not order the remaining 35 on top of the 2 we got atm.
