The Dutch lie

The Dutch are being lied to.

The F-35 is the only candidate who meets all six mission profiles

Mission 1: Offensive Counter Air / Sweep
fight for air superiority by attacking enemy air base and over the territory of the enemy to attack enemy planes. This type of surgery is performed mainly in the early stages of a conflict. Experience with it in the Balkans in 1999.

Mission 2: Defensive Counter Air / Cruise Missile Defence
fighting air superiority by enemy aircraft inbound to attack (air defense), as well as the defense against incoming missiles. Ensuring the sovereignty of national airspace and the protection of the area of operation is also covered.

Mission 3: Suppression / Destruction of Enemy Air Defences
suppressing properties of enemy air defense systems and associated command and fire control systems such as radars on the ground. To perform these missions is a recognized shortage of capacity in both NATO and the EU context.

Mission 4: Air Interdiction
Engagement of enemy logistical supply lines and communication lines deep into enemy territory. This ijn often long distance missions, so long reach and good self-protection are essential.

Mission 5: Close Air Support
The provision of direct support to ground troops that have come into contact with enemy units. (Such as the deployment in Afghanistan). Great precision is conditional. For these missions is a large deficit in both NATO and the EU context.

Mission 6: Non traditional intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (NTISR)
from airborne intelligence gathering, monitoring and conducting reconnaissance missions. Collect, analyze and disseminate possible sensor package on the plane.
