RAAF boss testimony eliminates need for the F-35

Funny in Senate estimates.

RAAF boss states Russian tech not a big deal. Down-talks everything about it.

States that in a recent exercise against U.S. red-air aggressors, that RAAF Super Hornets got 20-1 in kills.

Note, U.S. aggressors fly a dumbed-down threat profile. But, even with that, the RAAF boss talking down the threat and that the Super Hornet can handle it... well.

This, all by itself, eliminates the need for Australia to buy the failed F-35.
