F-35 won't be competitive vs. emerging threats

Said it before and will say it again.

The F-35 won't be able to take on emerging threats.

Boeing, in their 2014 Navy League briefing is beating this point home: that the F-35 is the narrowist of narrow-band stealth.

Simplistic? Sure, why not? Just like the claims from the F-35 fan-base except these have some basis in fact.

If anything, the Boeing claims are very derivative from other peoples work.(PDF File, Carlo Kopp, "Command of the Electromagnetic Spectrum" - an Electronic Combat Doctrine for the RAAF (Draft RAAF APSC WP8, November 1992).

That, and F-35's limited field of regard, along with being export-friendly and able to be found, tracked and killed.
