This photo is interesting because without the LITENING pod on the centerline, the dual-use Paveway IV's shown could only do GPS/INS attacks or depend on buddy lasing.
With that though, for the UK, the Typhoon is now a good dual-use weapon (including cruise missile carry).
Maybe not where they expected to be but still, lucky with all of the severe military cuts.
How the disastrous F-35 fits into this is anyone's guess.
There was supposed to be a glide-wing option for Paveway IV for a JSOW-ish or JDAM-ER improvement in stand-off attack. Will the UK field this?
