U.S. Army in the Market for ‘Light’ Tanks

A few interesting thoughts in this article about the U.S. Army and light armor.

“We are not set on a specific caliber gun.”

We have a lot of M-113s in storage. They can swim too (Pacific pivot). And can be altered to fit a variety of missions.

The sad part is one of the comments at the end of the article:

"The Army should be embarrassed, the Stryker meets the entire mission capability that was described. Just order more of those."
