Without submarines, the RCN’s will lose its ability to undertake regular training for such vitally important operations—and with that its well-deserved and hard-earned reputation in ASW.
This already happened when Canada purchased the useless Victoria-class.
Reputation, credibility, capability. Gone.
As for the other issue. Canada already has its' own procurement incompetence to worry about. It doesn't need to increase it by coordinating with the dysfunctional DMO.
