Quick review of some but not all F-35 LRIP-6 costs via U.S. DOD contracts thus far:
Not counting jet engines and and maybe some other future things, thus still a work in progress. Some of this money was not mentioned the other day when the fan-base-news stated a 4pc. reduction for LRIP-6 vs. LRIP-5. A WAG on jet engines for the future PW order to support LRIP-6 are $38M each per STOVL and $13M or more each for non-STOVL. None of this counts the total cost to get the jet into squadron service. Note: total airframe numbers still could change.
Date of DOD contract/Type/$M

Oh yeah, and whatever the lift-systems contract by Rolls-Royce ends up as for the STOVL aircraft.
