This just in, the chattering class is unable to define why the taxpayer should fund two, large RAN ships

Well it is official, the alleged Defence thinkers are unable to define why the Australian taxpayer should hand over lots of money for two very large RAN ships. The brainiacs are also unable to define a useful journey. Hint: I doubt Somalia is it.
