BAB EL-MANDIB STRAIT (May 11, 2013) Sgt. Johnathan Davis, Cpl. Daniel Kubow and Lance Cpl. Dusty Hickman, from Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 266, Reinforced, perform routine maintenance on an AV-8B Harrier in the hangar bay aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
