A new F-35 astro-turf / rent-seeking organization

http://greenribbonsf35.org/

For his second term, the Committee to Reelect President Nixon did something like this. They published an advert in the newspapers where you could cut out a post card and send it to the President to show your support for the mining of Haiphong Harbor. The CRP then stopped most of their other work while they bought thousands of newspapers and had their own people fill out these cards with different hand writing for each one. One of the guys charged with the Watergate break-in, Mr. McCord, complained that disposing of all of the newspaper was messing up the shredder room.
