The problem with this audio is that few of the big-ticket items on the shopping list have anything to do with useful Defence.
In order for anything to be fixed, the government has to look in the mirror. The problem with the defective Entrenched Defence Bureaucracy is large.
Greg Sheridan of The Australian in the audio above religiously believes in the Joint Strike Failure. Worse, the audio indicates he thinks the hardware in the moronic 2009 Defence White Paper has value.
His buddy actively advertises for the defective rent-seeking culture.
Unfortunately, the current Red government spent us hundreds of billions in debt.
Any kind of "repair" of Defence (senseless rent-seeking inspired (Sen. Johnston etc) or practical, will be a difficult task.
