I see they're trying to play that "it's all the government's fault the price went up" card. Seems to me I've seen that debunked, but I can't remember where. Do you have the data, Eric?
When you have a customer that keeps changing order quantities and delaying purchases and basically doing everything possible to avoid allowing you to take benefit of those elements that will allow for genuine price/cost reductions, then of course the Govt has to wear it's part of the blame for the cost. Despite what you might like to think, you cannot just blame this on big, bad Lockheed...

So naive, no wonder you post anonymously.
As APA analyses back in 2006 showed, the F-35A was always going to cost over four (4) times more than the "about 40 Million Dollars" that CAF back in 2002 that it was going to cost.
Then there is that little matter of the O&S costs being at least 20% cheaper than the CPFH of the F-16.
Staying anonymous would be a good idea.
Blaming cost increases on feature creep? How can you try and make that fly when the F-35's capabilities have been constantly DOWNgraded.
