Commentary of the day by EP
Let's see now. First land based CAT shot. As expected, would be at quite light weight; likely enough fuel to do launch, one PA ciruit and land (with reserves).Conditions of Test:MIL Power; 3/4 flap; 30 deg L/E down takeoff trim; Rudders in full speedbrake setting, Wind on the nose @ 5-10 knots gusting 5.Results:Satisfactory successful launch; nose gear bobble with initial hesitation; positive rate of straight ahead climb out. Noisy. Conclusion:Bunch more work to be done.
